Creative learner qualities

Choice theory underpins the ethos and programs in all areas of the school. Students set personal goals and are encouraged to take ownership of the choices they make. Students work towards having a Principal's afternoon tea and strive to excel in lifelong qualities.

Within our connected learning community, communication, engagement and partnership are priorities. Students and staff work in high possibility classrooms using quality learning pedagogy that is being continually monitored using regular reflective practice.

The purpose is to develop the whole child to be creative, mindful and self-managing. The learner qualities are also part of our reporting to parents. Students and teachers use the language of these elements in class programs/lessons and in feedback and reflection. Each classroom has the learner qualities poster displayed.

Students are given opportunities in a safe learning enviroment to become creative successful learners for their future.
